Portrait painter, sculptor born on June 19, 1890 in Budapest, Hungary.
Mako studied at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts.
He came to Los Angeles via Buenos Aires in 1923 and began a career as a freelance artist. During the 1930s he was an employee of the Federal Art Project.
He died in Desert Hot Springs, CA on Jan. 3, 1970.
